Jack's Mannequin " SWIM "

どもども。

先日わたくし、アメリカの Music Video の現場に行かせて頂きまして
しかもお世話になってる友人の Steven が Director の現場でございました！

今回はその Music Video が完成したとの報告を受けまして
とっても素敵な出来映えをみなさまにご紹介しようかと。

Jack's Mannequin というL.A出身のピアノロックバンドをご存知でしょうか？
今回の現場は、Jack's Mannequin の『 SWIM 』という曲のMVです。

いやぁ、もういくつかアメリカの現場に行かせてもらってるんですが
緊張します。だって日本人ひとりもいませんから！あたりまえか！
事前にプロダクションの人とコンタクトをとりつつ（もちろん英語です。）
そして、いきなりスタジオに突入するんですから。

僕はほぼ関係者ではないので、立場も微妙な・・・でも
ココロ優しいアメリカのスタッフの方々は『 お前 Steven の友達なんだろ！ 』
『 へぇ〜お前もDirector なのか！すげえな！ 』などと
たまにかまってくれるんで、安心します。

ハリウッドの超大作映画の現場なんかは、きっと違うんでしょうけど
まぁ、日本もアメリカも撮影現場は基本的にはそんなに変わりません。
機材もほとんど一緒だし。見てると何のポジションの人かはすぐわかります。
細かいポジションがこっちにはいろいろあって、その撮影システムこそ少し違いますが
ほとんど一緒です。う〜ん早く自分もアメリカの現場で撮影したい。

そして Steven も流石です。ボーカルの Andrew とのコミュニケーションも
スタッフとのコミュニケーションもすごく良くて、現場の雰囲気がすごくよかった。
やっぱそういうアーティストとか役者とのコミュニケーションって
Director にはホント大切で、いつも現場で『 もっといろいろ話たいのになぁ・・ 』
とかよく思います。なかなか日本の特にCMの現場は難しいんですけどね。
みんな英語で話せば、もっとオープンになったりするのかなぁ。笑

まぁ、とにもかくにもアメリカのプロの現場は見ているだけで刺激になりますね。
う〜ん、みんなすげーや。俺もっと頑張ろ。
